Gustav Lśrum's Ibsen drawings

Ibsen became a favourite motif for many cartoonists in the 1890s. Gustav Lśrum made it his speciality to depict the world-famous author, who had now returned to his native Norway, in different everyday situations in Christiania, often on his daily walk from Arbiensgate to the Grand Cafť and back, as in the well-known series below.
